Where to start?

All I need from you, is what you know!  As much information as possible is best, but even your own details are enough.  You can contact me at anytime, no question is too small - rest assured, I am very approachable and will help with everything I possibly can.

For each person, I will look at birth, marriage and death records and include a transcript of the full record.  I will also include transcripts of all census results found for each person.

Before 1855, registration was not required in Scotland, therefore at this stage I will move onto the Old Parish Records.  These can vary greatly from area to area, therefore some areas will be more informative than others.

How far will we get back in time?

Like everything in genealogy, this just depends!  Most of the time, we can trace back to 1780-1800, but this does vary.
